IJ Start Canon PIXMA G5020 Driver Download
IJ Start Canon PIXMA G5020 Driver Download– The Canon PIXMA G5020 is one of the very few single Bulk-Ink printers available. Like other MegaTank models from Canon, this produces an excellent and affordable output to use. It also comes with thousands of pages worth of ink in the box and supports multiple connectivity options, as well as multiple Voice-activation protocols. All of these facilities make it an excellent value for family, home and small offices with relatively high print requirements. This is our latest editor ‘ Choice for entry-level for a single midrange-function color printer. Like Canon Pixma TS5320, This G5020 is the excelent product from Canon.
Single Bulk ink-printer function
At 6.6 by 15.9 by 14.6 inches (HWD) and weighing £14.3, G5020, unlike a much larger editors ‘ Choice of Epson Pro-C5290 workforce, took very little desk space. Even so, it’s about twice as big and thicker as the Instant Ink-Ready Tango X printer from HP, as well as a few inches larger and about 5 kilograms more than the Canon’s own PIXMA G1200, the other single-function MegaTank machine.
As a MegaTank printer, G5020 gets ink from the internal Reservoir, with three color inks (Cyan, yellow, and Magenta) on the right side of the chassis, as shown here. (A larger black ink tank is on the left side.)
- As a single-function machine, G5020 does not require fancy graphics touch screen control Panel. Instead, what you get is the two-line monochrome reading of LED display text, navigation from a set of left and right arrow keys and a OK button. In addition to the navigation buttons, the Control Panel has five others: power, home, settings, back, and cancel.
- The GI-20 ink bottles feature special nozzles designed to pour easily without spills or messes!
- PIXMA G5020 Wireless MegaTank single function printers give you exceptional value with $1,175 ink savings with a full set of ink bottles included in the box plus two additional bonus black bottles for even more savings.
- Tired of replacing ink cartridges? Get more than 30 times the amount of ink compared to the equivalent set of standard ink cartridges.
As for the paper handling, G5020 holds a sheet of 350 divided between the 250-sheet main drawer in front and a 100-sheet tray that pulls out and out of the back. You can also load the rear tray with 20 4-X-6-inch sheets or 10 pieces of 5-X-7-inch photo paper.
The WF-C5290, on the other hand, holds 330 sheets and can be expanded to 850 with optional 500-sheet Drawer, and the HP Tango X only holds sheets 50.
Canon rates G5020 ‘s maximum monthly cycle in 5,000 pages and does not publish a recommended monthly print volume for this product. That’s a lot of pages for this little machine, but should quickly churn out a few hundred prints each month without breaking a lot of sweat. WF-C5290, however, is a value on 45,000 maximum pages, and 2,500 recommended pages, and the Tango X task cycle is a little 500 pages.
The additional support of Canon Mobile (Android and iOS) consists of Canon print apps, easy Print Photo editor application, and messages in print to hide videos and other messages in printed photos that can, in turn, be disclosed with the app Messages in print and smartphone cameras.
In addition to the wireless device G5020 MegaTank Single-function printer driver, you also get PhotoPrint Editor easy to edit, enhance, and print photos, and PosterArtist Lite Software, a Windows poster layout and printing program. Additionally included are the master Setup, My printer (Windows only), and the Network tool, a set of utilities to configure printers and network connections. Finally, you get Quick Menu, a one-click collection of shortcuts that provides quick access to the various features and functions available from the software and the printer itself
Solid print speeds
Canon levels G5020 in 10.5 monochrome pages per minute (ppm) and 6.8 ppm for color pages. During my tests, which I did through an Ethernet connection of our standard Intel Core i5 testbed PC running Windows 10 Professional, G5020 met or exceeded those ratings. For example, when I print 12 pages of our Microsoft Word text document, I lock this PIXMA at 13.2 ppm, or almost 2ppm faster than the Canon ranking. That’s 6.2 ppm faster than the Canon G1200, 3.6 ppm ahead of HP Tango X, and 13.2 ppm slower than the Epson WF-C5290.
To continue testing, my Clock The G5020 is as volatile as our collection of highly sophisticated and colorful Adobe Acrobat business documents, Excel spreadsheets and graphs and graphs, and PowerPoint handouts that contain a variety of business graphics and Typography on several different sizes and colors. I then combined the score with them from the Print 12-page text document in the previous Test and came with a score of 5.6 ppm to reproduce our entire suite of test documents. The score was 3.7 ppm ahead of PIXMA G1200, 3.8 ppm was faster than Tango X, and 11.5 ppm was slower than WF-C5290.
To complement the testing regimen, and, because Pixmas usually prints excellent quality photos, I also Clock G5020 as it is volatile beyond our highly detailed and colourful 4-by-6-inch snapshots multiple times and averaged results. The G5020 turbulent out test photos at an average speed of 32 seconds each. That’s 12 seconds slower than the PIXMA G1200, 26 seconds ahead of Tango X, and 17 seconds behind WF-C5290.
Excellent print quality PIXMA
Like most Pixmas, G5020 prints very well. The text is legible and well-shaped at all sizes up to about 6 points, which is small enough for most family and small business documents. Business graphics, including bar and line graphs, gradient backgrounds and fills, dark background and fill, and hairline (the rule is smaller than 1 point) I scored out streak-less, well defined, and well-delineated. I have no doubts about the use of G5020 outputs both at home and outside applications, such as marketing materials.
Pixmas has a reputation for churning out photos that look good, and G5020 is no exception. The Printing snapshots and 8-by-10-inch glossy images I printed out with vibrant, accurate colors and excellent detail, both outside the drug store quality developers. I suspect that most families will not have problems using the G5020 image output for their guardian photos, and the real estate agents and other businesses should find this little PIXMA photos output more than acceptable for the purpose Promotion.
Rock-Bottom Running cost
MegaTank Pixmas is one of the most inexpensive-to-use printers available. G5020 features three black ink bottles containing up to 6,000 pages each, for a total of 18,000 monochrome pages, and a good set of color ink bottles for up to 7,700 coloured pages. When it comes time to buy a replacement bottle, the cost per page for the monochrome output will run you around 0.2 cents and the color page is around 0.7 cents.
This amount is a fraction of a cent lower than the Epson EcoTank printers. HP Tango X above is an Instant Ink-Ready machine with a running cost of about 3.5 cents per page. Without question, PIXMA G5020 provides the best value when it comes to operating costs that are running.

Printing for Pennies
If families, home-based offices, or small businesses print up to one thousand or more pages each month, and continuous print quality and running costs are the main problem, then PIXMA G5020 is a great value. Not only is it inexpensive to use long term, but also comes with large quantities of ink in the box. Add to that powerful feature set, and it gets the editor ‘ Choice for entry-level to midrange printer’s single-function color.
